The identities of all four people who lost their lives in a jeep accident in Dadeldhura on Thursday have been established.
According to Police Inspector Dambar Bista, acting chief of the District Police Office, four people died on the spot when a jeep (Se 1 Ja 738) met with an accident at around 9:15 a.m. on Thursday in Chauda, Nawadurga Rural Municipality-5.
The deceased have been identified as 18-year-old Suresh Saud, 23-year-old Suresh Parki, 40-year-old Tara Awasthi, and 72-year-old Kalawi Saud of Nawadurga-5.
Six others were injured in the accident. They were rescued and sent to the Dadeldhura District Hospital.
The injured are 18-year-old Sushila BK, 4-year-old Pratima Parki, 48-year-old Chandra Bahadur Saud, the driver 35-year-old Ram Bahadur Saud, 42-year-old Ganesh Bahadur Saud, and 44-year-old Prakash BK.
The jeep fell 250 meters from the road.
The cause of the accident has not been ascertained yet.
