Gen Z representatives demand release of inquiry commission’s report (Pictures)

Kathmandu, March 15

A demonstration was held at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Sunday demanding the release of the report submitted to the government by the inquiry commission on the incidents that took place during the Gen Z movement on September 8 and 9 last year.

Representatives of the Gen Z movement, including Rakshya Bam, Majid Ansari, and others, held a peaceful protest at Maitighar.

The inquiry commission led by former judge Gauri Bahadur Karki submitted its report to the government on March 8.

It is uncertain whether the current government will make the commission's report public or not.

Gen Z representatives who took part in Sunday’s protest holding posters and pamphlets, demanded that the current interim government release the report as soon as possible.
