The Nepali Congress (NC) has started its election rally in the Kathmandu Valley from Kirtipur.
The election rally was organized in Kirtipur around 2 p.m. on Sunday. Leaders including party spokesperson Devraj Chalise and Rajan KC were present at the event.
In Kathmandu Constituency No. 10, the NC has fielded district member Himal Karki as its candidate. Party President Gagan Kumar Thapa and Vice-president Bishwa Prakash Sharma were not present at the event.
The party is planning to hold six election rallies in the Kathmandu Valley. After Kirtipur, it will hold an election rally in Thimi, Bhaktapur. In Bhaktapur-2, journalist Kabir Rana is the candidate from the NC.
An election rally is also scheduled in Pepsi Cola Town Planning of Kathmandu-2, where Kabir Sharma is the party’s candidate.
Rallies have also been planned in Kathmandu-4, Balaju of Kathmandu-7, Kathmandu-5, and Kathmandu-6.
