Royalists organized a motorcycle rally in the Sukedhara area of Kathmandu on Friday.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa, RPP leader Prakash Chandra Lohani, and others participated in the rally.
On Thursday, the “Joint People's Movement Committee” formed for the restoration of monarchy announced the launch of an indefinite “people's movement” from May 29.
The committee’s coordinator Nawaraj Subedi said that the RPP, RPP Nepal, Rastriya Shakti Nepal, Nepali Congress (BP), Shiv Sena, and other forces have also expressed solidarity with the movement.
RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden, RPP Nepal Chairman Thapa, Rastriya Shakti Nepal chief Keshar Bahadur Bista, and others were also present at Thursday’s event.
