First session of Parliament begins

The first meeting of the newly-elected House of Representatives began on Monday.

In the first meeting, Pashupati Shumsher Rana, the eldest member in the HoR, read out the president’s letter summoning the first session of parliament.

He also read out letters about appointment of prime minister and Cabinet formation from the President’s Office.
