The ruling CPN has deemed Nepali Congress (NC) to be its major competitor and called the Madhes-based parties narrow-minded extremists.
"Nepali Congress is the main force that the communist movement and working class should compete against in class, ideology and politics," the party's political document acquired by Setopati reads.
The document prepared by the party after unification calls NC a party of the capitalists, and claims it mainly represents the brokers and crony capitalists. "NC has been adopting the policy of capitulation instead of taking stand for national interests and independence right from Delhi Accord in 1950 to the blockades until 2015. Adopting policy of compromise in the issues of nationalism has become its character," the document mentions.
The document calls the policies and thinking of Madhes-based parties on the issues of ethnicity, language and federalism narrow-minded. It has called the then Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, that has since unified with Naya Shakti to form Socialist Party Nepal, partially extremist and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP) an extremist party.
"RJP is against the workers, farmers, impoverished and bourgeoisie of Madhes instead of supporting them. It has capitulatory policy on national independence and interests," it reads.
The self-proclaimed leading nationalist party has called other smaller communist parties parochial. "We, however, have to bring them into unification while criticizing their self-centered thinking, behavior and policy," it suggests.
It deems the activities of Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN are not suitable in the current situation. "We must make efforts to bring them into political mainstream while criticizing its baseless and ultra-left character," the document states.
It calls RPP remnant of feudalism and claims that the party has been completely rejected by the people.
The political document prepared by the party to provide ideological guideline after unification has finally been sent for printing 14 months after unification. The party plans to make the document public after completing all the processes of unification.
