Houses built by encroaching on public land in the Sat Tole area of Kapan, Kathmandu, have been demolished.
The structures were removed as part of a joint operation carried out by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s municipal police, technical team, and the local administration.
According to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, houses had been illegally constructed on public roads, streams, and other government-owned land in the Kapan area. Buildings constructed in violation standards were identified and demolished using bulldozers.
