Bulldozers have been used to demolish roadside houses and huts in Shankhamul, Kathmandu.
The machines have been tearing down structures built along the roadside in Shankhamul since Friday noon.
This marks the second time that the government has used bulldozers to clear structures built on riverbanks and encroached public land in Kathmandu.
Previously, similar demolitions were carried out on Saturday and Sunday in the squatter settlements of Shankhamul, Sinamangal, and Manohara areas.
On Friday, the demolition drive expanded to multiple locations including Balkhu, Banshighat, and Gongabu.
