Doctors staged a protest in Kathmandu’s Maitighar on Tuesday.
Following a boycott called by the Nepal Medical Association, all services except emergencies remain suspended in hospitals across the country on Tuesday as well.
The Nepal Medical Association has halted all services except emergencies in health institutions nationwide since Monday, stating that recent verdicts by the Consumer Court have interfered with the jurisdiction of the Nepal Medical Council, discouraged doctors, and created an unsafe environment.
The Nepal Medical Association launched its agitation on July 4.
