Scrap dealers stage protest against KMC

Kathmandu, March 3

Scrap dealers staged a demonstration against the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) on Sunday.

They demonstrated in front of the KMC offices at the Rastriya Sabha Griha on Sunday afternoon demanding that they be allowed to work and earn a living. They also accused KMC of oppression against scrap traders.

KMC had demolished structures built for scrap collection and also given instructions to remove scrap collection centers.
