ANNFSU stages protest demanding PM Shah’s resignation and release of student leaders (Pictures)

The All Nepal National Free Students' Union (ANNFSU) staged a protest on Exhibition Road in Kathmandu on Wednesday, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Balen Shah and the release of arrested student leaders.

Students participating in the demonstration chanted slogans against the government, demanding that PM Shah take moral responsibility and resign immediately. They also urged the government to release the arrested student leaders unconditionally.

The ANNFSU accused the government of suppressing the student movement and demanded respect for democratic rights. The protesters condemned what they described as government interference in a peaceful movement.

The union has also warned that it will continue its protest programs until its demands are met.
