Home Minister Sudan Gurung and Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation Mahabir Pun have taken the oath of office and secrecy.
The two ministers were sworn in on Tuesday at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal Niwas.
Prime Minister Balen Shah expanded his Cabinet earlier on Tuesday.
The appointments were made by President Ram Chandra Paudel upon the prime minister's recommendation.
Gurung previously served as home minister for 27 days. He faced an investigation following a controversy regarding the source of his assets and share investments. He is a lawmaker elected from Gorkha-1.
Pun is an independent lawmaker elected from Myagdi. He previously served as education minister in the government led by Sushila Karki.
