Amar Kant Chaudhary of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken the lead in Saptari Constituency No. 3, overtaking Upendra Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal.
According to the latest results from the Election Commission, Chaudhary has secured 3,175 votes, while Yadav trails with 2,821 votes. The margin between them now stands at 354 votes in favor of the RSP candidate.
In the same race, Dinesh Kumar Yadav of the Nepali Congress is in third place with 1,355 votes. Surendra Prasad Sharma of the CK Raut-led Janmat Party has received 400 votes.
