Upendra Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has taken a narrow lead in Saptari Constituency No. 3.
According to the latest results from the Election Commission, Yadav has secured 2,092 votes, while his nearest rival, Amar Kant Chaudhary of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), follows closely with 2,058 votes. The margin between the two currently stands at just 34 votes.
In the same constituency, Dinesh Kumar Yadav of the Nepali Congress has received 293 votes.
