The CPN-UML central committee meeting has begun in Kathmandu.
The first meeting of the central members elected from the 11th general convention started on Friday afternoon at Karki Banquet in Baber Mahal.
Chairman KP Sharma Oli is currently addressing the meeting.
The agenda includes congratulating the newly-elected central committee members and holding discussions on the tasks to be carried out after their election.
The UML’s 11th general convention concluded on Thursday.
The general convention elected a 301-member central committee, including 19 office-bearers. KP Sharma Oli was elected chairman for a third term, defeating Senior Vice-chairman Ishwar Pokharel.
