Four new ministers sworn in (Pictures)

Kathmandu, Sept 22

Four newly-appointed ministers were sworn in on Monday.

President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers amid a ceremony held at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas, on Monday afternoon.

The new ministers include Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Mahabir Pun, Minister for Industry and Land Reform Anil Kumar Sinha, Minister for Communications, Information, and Technology Jagdish Kharel, and Minister for Agriculture Madan Pariyar.

President Paudel appointed the ministers on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

PM Karki and three other ministers were sworn in last week.

Following the Gen Z movement on September 8 and 9, the government led by KP Sharma Oli fell, and an interim government under Sushila Karki’s leadership was formed.
