Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak presented his views on the visit visa issue amid protests from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) during Friday’s House of Representatives meeting.
During the meeting that began on Friday afternoon, lawmakers from RSP and RPP voiced their opposition.
In the meantime, Speaker Devraj Ghimire gave Home Minister Lekhak the floor to speak.
While the home minister was presenting his views, RSP lawmakers surrounded the well of the House, demanding his resignation and the formation of an investigation committee.
Lawmakers from the opposition RPP, on the other hand, stood up in protest.
