The 263rd Army Day was celebrated at Tundikhel in Kathmandu on Sunday.

President Ram Chandra Paudel attended the special ceremony organized on the occasion of Army Day as the chief guest. He is also the supreme commander of the Nepal Army.

Vice-president Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav and other high-ranking officials also participated in the ceremony.

On the occasion, a military parade (arms drill), cannon salute, march-past, and various cultural performances were held at the Army Pavilion.

The Nepal Army has been celebrating Army Day on Maha Shivaratri every year.
