On the occasion of the 304th birth anniversary of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, President Paudel, Vice-president Yadav, and PM Karki reached Singha Durbar to offer floral tributes at his statue.
National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, Vice-chairperson Bimala Ghimire, and various ministers of the Nepal government also paid their respects and expressed tribute to the architect of Nepal's unification.
Chief Secretary Suman Raj Aryal, high-ranking government officials, heads of constitutional bodies and security agencies, and distinguished personalities from various walks of life expressed also paid tribute to the founder of the nation.
Every year on Prithvi Jayanti, the head of state along with high-ranking officials pay tribute to King Prithvi Narayan Shah.
