National Flag Day marked in Kathmandu (Pictures)

National Flag Day was observed in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The National Heritage Conservation Foundation Nepal celebrated the eighth National Flag Day to commemorate the day when Nepal's national flag was universally adopted and recognized at the United Nations.

National Flag Day is observed every year on Paush 1 according to the Nepali calendar.

On Tuesday, a rally carrying Nepal's national flag was also organized at Basantapur Durbar Square in Kathmandu.
