Lalitpur begins removing unauthorized roadside structures (Pictures)

The Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) has begun demolishing unauthorized structures built within houses inside the metropolis.

Chief of LMC Police Sitaram Hachhethu said that illegal structures, including unauthorized awnings or polyroofs built along main roads, have been removed.

He said that the removal of such structures began on Monday and will continue in the coming days.

According to Hachhethu, the metropolis began removing such unauthorized structures in the Shankhamul area on Monday and will start work in Mangal Bazar, Pulchowk and other areas on Tuesday.
