Repair work underway at arson-hit building of Prime Minister’s Office (Pictures)

The old building of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar, which was damaged in an arson attack during the Gen Z movement, is undergoing repair work.

Singha Durbar was also set on fire during the Gen Z movement on September 9 last year.

Repair work on the eastern wing of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has begun with a target of completing it within the next three months.

Following the arson attack, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has been operating from a newly constructed building originally built for the Ministry of Home Affairs.
