Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah has held a collective discussion with ambassadors of various countries.
The group meeting with the ambassadors took place on Wednesday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, Chief Secretary Suman Raj Aryal, the prime minister’s advisors, Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lok Bahadur Paudel Chhetri and others were present at the meeting.
According to the prime minister’s secretariat, ambassadors and diplomats of various countries, and heads of diplomatic missions based in Nepal had earlier proposed individual meetings with the prime minister. However, PM Shah had not shown interest in those proposals.
The prime minister’s secretariat stated that the meeting was organized according to PM Shah’s own plan and preparation to collectively hold discussions with foreign ambassadors and present views.
