KP Oli casts vote in Bhaktapur (Pictures)

Kathmandu, March 5

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has cast his vote in the ongoing House of Representatives election.

He voted at the polling center located in Mahendra Shanti Vidyalaya in Balkot, Bhaktapur-2.

Oli is a candidate for the House of Representatives from Jhapa-5.

According to the election office, voters have been arriving at polling stations since early morning and casting their ballots peacefully.

While some locations have seen moderate crowds, the voting process is reportedly proceeding smoothly overall.

The Election Commission stated that security measures have been tightened and no untoward incidents have been reported so far.

Voter turnout is expected to increase further in the afternoon.
