Central members of the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party took their oath of office on Tuesday.

Former prime minister and party patron Baburam Bhattarai administered the oath to the central members during the central committee meeting held in Naya Bazaar, Kathmandu, on Tuesday.

This is the first full meeting of the central committee since the party's formation.

The central committee meeting will continue until Wednesday.

Leaders including Baburam Bhattarai, Janardan Sharma, Ram Karki, Santosh Pariyar, Sudan Kirati, Ojaswi Bhattarai, and Durga Sob are participating in the meeting.
