Constitution Day marked at Tundikhel (Pictures)

Kathmandu, Sept 19

The government organized a special ceremony to celebrate Constitution Day at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel, Kathmandu, on Friday.

President Ram Chandra Paudel, Vice-president Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Energy Minister Kulman Ghising, and other dignitaries attended the ceremony.

A contingent of Nepal Army also offered a guard of honor to President Paudel on the occasion.

During the ceremony, the Nepal Army showcased various performances and skills.

The present constitution was promulgated by the Constituent Assembly on this day in 2015.
