Chief Minister (CM) of Gandaki Prithvi Subba Gurung has resigned on Sunday.
Gurung has submitted his resignation to Governor Sita Kumari Paudel Sunday afternoon.
Governor Paudel, meanwhile, has urged the parties for formation of new government within three days after Gurung's resignation.
The provincial assembly of Gandaki was to vote on the no-confidence motion against Gurung on Monday.
