Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday accused India of threatening its neighbors including Nepal through what he called its arrogant expansionist policies.
Khan, who has been comparing treatment of minorities by the Narendra Modi government in India especially in Kashmir, to pogrom of Jews under Adolf Hitler again invoked the Nazi comparison on Wednesday. He has slammed India's expansionist policy in the immediate neighborhood including Nepal comparing it to the Nazi ideology of Lebensraum (Living Space) that stresses on settler colonialism.
“The Hindutva Supremacist Modi Govt with its arrogant expansionist policies, akin to Nazi’s Lebensraum (Living Space), is becoming a threat to India’s neighbors. Bangladesh through Citizenship Act, border disputes with Nepal & China, & Pak threatened with false flag operation, ” Khan has tweeted on Wednesday.
His reaction comes amid India's border dispute with Nepal and its tensions with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh.
