Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari has urged everyone to not doubt the fact that Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) owns the two Airbus A330 planes it is operating.
Speaking in a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the parliament on Wednesday he claimed that the wide-body airplanes arrived with full ownership after completing all the processes.
He urged the lawmakers to not doubt about ownership of the planes after they asked the government's position about ownership. He revealed that he cross-verified about ownership after questions were raised and found that NAC owned the planes.
"It is clear that the planes that came to Hi Fly X from Airbus have come to NAC," he reiterated. "Our regulatory authority has issued registration certificate on the basis of that."
